Emergency Support Options

  1. Cluster Headache has been nicknamed “Suicide Headache” for good reason. Coping with the pain and stress of this disease can overwhelm any of us at any time. Talking about our shared struggle, including depression and suicidal thoughts, is encouraged. We need to support each other.
  2. However, we are not a therapy group, nor do we offer counseling. We do care about your safety and take threats of self-harm seriously.  In the unfortunate event that someone does post a specific threat of intent to self-harm, we will take action in the following ways:
    • We will attempt to contact the member to verify safety
    • We will provide links to appropriate services, including referral to the appropriate emergency and/or mental health services.
